With a grand total of 1,665 points (final confirmation pending) I declare Underachiever (Eddie) as the official winner of the 2018/19 SFCU Fantasy League and great will be the blessings bestowed on him.

Great, not in the sense of unimaginable wealth and fame in this lifetime, but great in the sense that in the next life the doors of Valhalla will be opened to him and Oden himself will invite him to the great drinking hall. He will be seated at the same table as Paul Gasgoine and George Best, and an eternal supply of mead and roasted meats will be served up to him by maids familiar to anyone with a passing knowledge of the PornHub top 100.

It is with sadness that I have to report that neither Fox nor the FFA will be running a fantasy football competition for the A- League this season and, as such, there will be no SFCU Fantasy A-League competition this year.

Sportsdeck are running one, sent them an email and got this reply:

The Dream Team A-League game will be opening soon and if you played last season, we’ll send you an email when the new game launches.​

I did a basic check of the website. It is not up and running yet but looks like it may do the job. I have some leave next week so I’ll check it out more thoroughly then.
