Bumping derby voting in case people want to get in… a fair bit down on last week

After a few days to get over my apathy for that match I put my votes in.

Vs Mariners open now (& derby still open till Saturday night)

Arlo 6

Result for the derby:

Milos Ninkovic took MOTM in the draw against WSW. It’s the 32nd MOTM of his Sydney FC career, and he has won at least one in all of his six seasons with the club.

Another great voting turnout, thanks! A fair bit less for the CCM loss so far, but there’s still time

Result for the week 5 loss to the Mariners:

Anthony Caceres, who finished 3rd in the standings last season, took his first MOTM for 2020-21, although it wasn’t a clear win with only 28 of the 39 voters sending points his way. It’s the 5th MOTM of his Sydney FC career.

The number of voters was a little down on previous weeks, but that’s to be expected with a disappointing loss. The upside is that it was just one voter short of the highest tally we had all of last season. So thanks to everyone who has been voting this year, it’s great to see more participation.

That said, there are still a few hours until voting closes for last week’s win over Macarthur:

I have a feeling Kosta might be roaring back into contention

Results are in for the win over Macarthur.

There were two clear popular players, taking points from 47 and 37 of the 49 voters, respectively. It was that man Milos Ninkovic who came out on top again: his second win of the season and the 33rd of his SFC career.

A good turn-out for Wellington so far, but there’s still time if you haven’t voted yet:

Result for last Monday’s win over Wellington:

Kosta Barbarouses finally took the first MOTM of his 40-match SFC career, and it was an emphatic one: he picked up votes from all 51 voters (this doesn’t happen very often). His final tally of an average of 2.53 votes is the highest since Andrew Redmayne (2.89) against City in August. Second and third places were pretty clear-cut as well; only one other player tallied more than 10 votes.

Thanks to everyone who has voted… keep an eye out for it to open on Saturday night after the Brisbane game.

Guess we’re all happy to finally see him score. (In open play)

51 voters all voting shows we aren’t a fickle bunch. Reward for effort, no grudges - which is great to see

i like to vote straight away instead of ponder on things…tough one this week i have to say.

everyone that did something good also seemed to do something quite bad.

Milos 4, Wilko 1, Gowser 1. The rest, apart from Hof, were dross.

I went 2 each for Milos, Caceras and the Hoff
