I managed to miss Nathan Amanatidis and can’t seem to edit the poll to add him. PM me if you want to allocate votes for Amanatidis
Bumping this in the hope of some more votes vs Eastern
vs Kaya. Couple more hours for Eastern too
vs CCM (+ Kaya still open)
Can we give negative points?

You logged in to the front page system yeah (not just the forum)?
That’s the only thing I can think, it seems to be working for me so otherwise could just be doing its tempramental thing.
You can try again another time, or otherwise DM me directly with your votes.
I’m a little behind on posting the results but just bumping this because Kaya voting closes tonight and I’ll be tallying them up. Good chance to give the youngsters some votes if you haven’t already
Updates for our run of three wins:
Anas Ouahim came off the bench to win MOTM in the derby. That’s his fourth MOTM for the season, but his first since the 2nd ACL match (also coming off the bench). A fair way back were a couple of defenders, Aaron Gurd getting his first points since 2022 and Jordan Courtney-Perkins.
In the away game vs Eastern, Anas Ouahim scored 3 and picked up an average of over 3 votes per voter for his fifth MOTM of the season. Way back were Patryk Klimala (his third 2nd-place finish) and Anthony Caceres.
The home game against Kaya must have our youngest top 3 ever, at an average age of 20.5 years. The winner was Adrian Segecic for his first points since his return to Sydney, having won 4 and finishing fifth in 2022-23. In second place was Wataru Kamijo on debut and the veteran Jaiden Kucharski.
Thanks to everyone who has voted. There is still a bit of time to get yours in for Central Coast away if you want to:
vs Western
Result for the loss away in Gosford:
Anthony Caceres won MOTM for the loss to CCM, but it was a very close one. His second MOTM for the season was won with 45 votes, followed by Patryk Klimala on 42 votes (his fourth 2nd-place, still searching for a win) and Joe Lolley on 41 (the back-to-back defending champ with his first top-3 finish).
Still time to vote for the Western loss:
vs Adelaide (WU open until tomorrow evening too)
Pre-Christmas result for the loss to Western United:
A rare event, as all 32 voters gave votes to Adrian Segecic, to win his second MOTM for the season. It’s his 5th MOTM in 13 starts (and his 6th overall) for Sydney FC. Behind him came Anas Ouahim for his 8th top-three finish this season. The two of them picked up a total of 4.34 votes on average, leaving not much else to go around, and Patryk Klimala got the final point in third. The Pole has 6 top-three finishes, but still hasn’t won a MOTM yet.
Thanks to everyone who has voted! If you are looking at your phone during family Xmas lunch, why not put in your votes for the Adelaide game:
vs MV
Result for the last-gasp draw away in Adelaide:
Douglas Costa was the clear MOTM here, taking an average of 2.91 votes from each voter — although there was one person who didn’t think he deserved any. The points were thinly spread behind that, with an average of 0.70 enough to earn Jordan Courtney-Perkins second place, while we had our first points share for the season, as Anas Ouahim and Jaiden Kucharski could not be split in third.
You can find the current standings here: Player of the season standings – SFC Statistics (noting that the tiebreak based on average votes is not accurate). There are five more matches where the top three will be announced, after which it’ll be the MOTM only.
Still about a day left to vote for the win over Melbourne, if you haven’t already:
Am I reading it right, that Lolley has only come in the top 3 once so far this season?
Hard to believe if so, he is consistently one of our best players. It puts Kamijo and Middleton above him. Crazy stuff.
Though I suspect Lolley will get a gold star for the performance against Victory.
You are reading it right. He has been 4th three times and 5th once, so it is a little harsh that he’s sitting so low in the standings ATM. But it’d be pretty impressive if he managed his third consecutive Player of the Season from here.
Outside of a double he has been largely anonymous. It tracks.
