Unforgivable laziness from King at the end. My o35/6 team would never have a defensive line so fractured. A professional player should not be getting caught keeping players onside in that situation.

Yeah I’m sure the aim was a loan with a view to a permanent transfer either there or at another club over there. That was probably a bit of a blow to his aspirations. Just seems to have made him work harder.

I’m saying - he would have been disappointed not to get a permanent transfer to Europe, but it speaks well of his attitude and application that he’s returned better and more determined in his games.

Depends how they play. They looked equally open on the counter in the last 10 minutes.
And I’m saying Ze german sent him overseas last year to get game time that he wasn’t getting here last season.
And that that loan move has been great for his development and now he’s demonstrably better and displaying an ability to connect with another attacking player who has succeeded at the highest levels in Europe.
There is absolutely nothing for Segacic to be disappointed about here. He’s increasing his value every minute he’s on the pitch.

I think you’re reading something that I’m not saying.
Not saying he should be disappointed. But typically players who go over and immediately come back are disappointed and can get in a funk. It’s great that he’s not.
I would disagree with your premise though as he’s off contract at the end of the season. I’d say he was sent with a view to sell him last off-season but the offer either didn’t come or wasn’t enough.

Depends what the AFC masters want. Seems like lots of reffing decisions went against us last round and again tonight. I’m not gonna do a Staj/Rudan and call a stigma, but we will struggle to win overseas if that’s the standard.
I still blame Uffy more than the AFC. We were lethargic, which was hardly a surprise after such a physically and mentally draining game on Saturday. Having said that, I can see why it’s a hard choice for Uffy:
De Jesus > King (but I would’ve moved Grant to right back and played JCP at left centre back and Kingnonnleft, not at right where he has really struggled.

Possibly Lolley > Costa
There’s a separate argument about HDM vs Redders. The players would be gutted if the keeper is beaten on near post, but he’s also been ok on passing the ball out and sweeping. Only saying ok, not good, as he’s given us a fair few heart attacks.

I was two seats away from Barlow when their equaliser went in. He heard me give Harrison Devenish Muppet an almighty spray and his mate backed me up. His mate also said he’s been telling him to have a word with Uffie for the last few weeks about getting Redders back in. Barlow was not happy at the keeping either

Forgot how bad the AFC game experience is with no replays and all the other bizarre shit.
The HDM experiment cannot continue. His ability with the ball at his feet is not worth giving up a goal and a half a game.
Lack of rotation was puzzling as well, again.
