What are we gonna do start with 12 players on the field or something? If you have a way to start the most in form and best player in the league at the moment, well damn I’d love to hear it!

The only reason I can see as to why he’s not starting is because he hasn’t signed the contract the club has offered.
It’s the only logical explanation for both situations. There’s not a club in this land that he should and would not be starting for.
Do away goals count for something in the aggregate score?
