I will say that crowds at Hindmarsh more often than not look pretty good (especially after two rubbish AAMI park turn outs this round).
Yet the Pissants are generally 3rd, 4th or 5th in the league for home crowd numbers. Is that because the stadium capacity is smaller?
It’s one of the smallest stadiums in the league. Even the bad crowds usually make Hindmarsh half-full, and they have no city derbies at a big stadium to pump up their crowd figures like we can, or the Wanderers, or the two main Melbourne clubs.

I’d say that it is a case of them reporting the correct figure rather than the “massaging” of the numbers pretty much every other club does.
