I tend to agree, but he seemed to play better with us than he has been for Macarthur so far. He should consider bringing the corn rows back, that’s probably the reason. Not sure about the afro.

Or we saw him demonstrate he was up to it in various positions over a few NPL seasons and then be crucial in winning us a trophy?
But solid way to make a point by now making a snap decision based on a few early season games for someone else.

I’ve certainly seen a lot more in him than I have in Zac De Jesus.
Don’t forget that we ended up having to bring in 2 players, JCP and King, to replace him due to his ability to play on both sides of the defence.
He’d be a better bench option than Joel King at the moment and at least we’d have adequate cover for Rhyan Grant if he goes down.

I think the problem was more squad balance than actual genuine prospect. My memory is that it seemed like we needed a left full back. But the club seemed to have been 100% right about JCP who, after a shaky start (where people were just as quick to write him off as others were to hand Adamson a contract) he’s been excellent at left back. So

I was pretty patently not talking about those people.
Those people were just overly eager to conflate performance in the NPL with potential in the ALM.
We’ve all been there. 
I get that. But he also slotted seamlessly into our first team and won a trophy, then did well enough for Macarthur last season after that enforced 3 month transfer window layoff nonsense.
Any judgement made after the first 2 games this season is way more hasty than anything posted prior.

Adamson was up against jakolis for most of last night, no surprise he struggled.

Wouldnt have picked the Coasties for love nor money at the half but won’t be surprised if they actually win this now.
We knew what we had with Adamson. He showed that he was a more than capable young A League player. He was more than worthy of the RB/LB position on the bench
We took a gamble on JCP that has paid off.
We then brought King back who is costing us more and still leaves the squad unbalanced as he can’t play on the right.
We took a punt on a young RB who wasn’t as good as Adamson at the time and hasn’t progressed. You could argue that he’s got worse as he can’t even make the starting NPL side.
At the time it made no sense and it doesn’t look any better now. The only thing that has worked out is JCP.
