The crowd for this game shows that even when there is another game included on the ticket for the show piece game of the calendar, people just aren’t that interested in going to watch two neutral teams.

Exactly, not to mention how hard it would be for families to justify the entire afternoon and evening out and no choice but to eat in the stadium for dinner.

Double headers would be great if they didn’t warn up on the pitch between games.
If there was 10-15 mins between games it would be fine but not an hour
