In the latest members email, theyre taking about Sydney’s women’s academy. In NSW, Newcastle have been gold standard with their Emerging Jets program. Mariners and Wests are coming online this year, as are Bulls Academy. Sydney have not produced anything but a short term training camp and from what I saw of it, nothing to be excited about.
Ante Juric has just been appointed as Sydney United’s new manager.
I wonder if this will be a job share situation like he had when he managed Olympic at the same time as the women’s team.
Here’s hoping Tobin doesn’t get injured in the first game.

I think the Matildas set up needs to bring in a witchdoctor to add to the usual coaches, physios etc. Although poor Lowry would not even have had a chance to meet them a first time, in this case.

ACL’s is so common in womens football. Hopefully one day they figure out truly how to better deal with it.
A mate of mine just told me he spotted ABJ and Aaron Calver together. Expect to see him in Jan.
