I only say it cause when I was involved in amateur football in North Sydney we got $15k when one of our juniors signed his youth forms in Italy… apparently we’d get a small amount everytime he signed another contract. Sadly he didn’t.

Going by that article you are correct. If your club trained the player, you’ll get compensation for the training until the end of the season of his 23rd birthday, every time he signs with a new club internationally. The only caveat is if he is shown to no longer be “in training.” So a player playing as a top rated striker in a high level league/club could finish his training stage earlier. Someone like Haaland for instance would probably no longer be seen as training in his latter stages with Dortmund.

Compensation is based on how highly rated your club is.

Not sure if this belongs here or what, but, Vine and McLean have the chance to debut at the very civilised hour of 8am tomorrow morning. It’ll be on Optus. I didn’t realise the NWSL ran into their summer, may have been a motivating factor for them to sign there and get minutes rather than waiting for the Euro leagues to start up again.

Hayley Raso has left Real Madrid. Rumours that she’s off to Areenal

Aussienal, at this point…

Our girls were not in the Courage squad, btw.

While he danced on the dark side with some of the clubs he signed for but does feel like a wasted talent

Doesn’t help he’s made out of paper, to be honest. He could’ve had a solid Socceroos career if he wasn’t injured so much.

Looks like Ange is looking to add Montgomery to the coaching staff

Nick Montgomery joins Spurs as an assistant coach

No way Harry sees out the season

Uffy needs an assistant…

The A-League Iniesta you say?

I think this is the problem with our defence. They fail to digest players…

Hore Henry. :joy:

If my surname was something as unfortunate as Hore, and would have inevitably been bullied mercilessly throughout my school life, I would be changing my name the second I turned 18.

It’s like the US swimmer from the 2000s Olympics - Misty Hymen. If your last names something like Hymen, don’t name your kid an adjective.

At least she doesn’t have it as bad as her brother, Rusty.
