Mourinho’s dour style is just try not to lose, similar to Popa’s dour style but Mou has a better quality of player at his disposal. World football has moved on since 2016, which is the last time he won anything worthwhile.

I keep seeing this argument. It might have been true earlier in his career, but in the last seven seasons he’s only won a single trophy, and that was the Conference League with Roma. He also hasn’t won a league competition in nine seasons.
We should hire Arnie, he has a good record at world cups with the national team

In terms of points per game, he’s averaging around the 2 mark, which isn’t the worst record.
Part of the Mourinho thing is that it helps when you manage clubs that have an almost unlimited source of money to do what you want…
But but, looking after his sick mum etc
Can’t wait until the next Asian Cup failure is deflected with “I’m sorry, but there’s a real stigma against our country”.

Can you divide the number of seasons each has coached by the number of trophies that each has won?
I’m pretty sure that’s what rate means yeah?
I’d rather divide the number of seasons each has coached by the amount of money they’ve spent to win those trophies
So, if you’ve got a salary cap of 2.5 mill and you win fuck all, you’ve won fuck all.
And that includes the time they had 6 visa players!

Please no. Popa and Rudan would be a horrible combination. Imagine being a player and going into such a negative environment when representing your country.
