Why would Arnie release players for another A-League finals series when it’s his and the players’ once in four years (or in a lifetime, for e.g. Rhyan Grant) WC opportunity?
On current form I doubt any of our lads will get picked anyway. Jamie Mclaren might though which could work in our favour

Rhyno deserves to go to a World Cup, even if it’s just as a back up. Arnie likes and trusts him anyway.
Some of those teams present a great opportunity for Rhyno to get back in form. Three months is a long way away, though.

We should / do have enough guys in Europe to cover, unfort this also affects a bunch of guys in Asia as well as their seasons will be ongoing.
I just hope that both of them stay at CCM for a few years.
Both of them are playing the best and ost consistent football of their careers and it is no doubt a result of the added confidence that they are getting by being the big fish in the small CCM pond
There’s no disrespect intended there, I’m merely pointing out that they both struggled when the extra pressure of playing for a “bigger club” was placed upon them.
Hopefully Staj can tie them down to long term contracts and build the side around them.
