Cheerleaders 2018

We’ve got an ecosa, it’s good. Not the cheap one though (I preferred that, the wife didn’t - so we got the bougie one).

Is that the Ecosa Pure?

That was the one I had a quick look at as well. Offering 35% off.

Yep. That’s the one. For the price, it’s way better than a regular mattress. The money back guarantee is also excellent. No questions asked or hard sell to keep it.

I think we even had to place another order as opposed to doing a swap, and no issues with getting the money back.

Perfect, it’s currently on sale from $1700 down to $1190 with free delivery.

We have gone from a Koala queen and bought one again when we moved to a king.

We went from a $5K box spring mattress to the Koala and in my opinion I got a better sleep from the Koala.

We do put a memory foam topper on them because my wife needed a slightly softer top as she has always had pillow tops but otherwise can’t fault them.

Love my koala

I think this is the company that Steve Smith owns a chuck of. It made him a fortune apparently

My back has been accepted by DVA.
You are all welcome for my service.

I’ve not been able to work since August last year, still in pain and taking strong painkillers.

Hopefully they hurry up with the payment so I can buy a boat.

I like my Koala too though there are two things that I have to do to maximise the enjoyment. When winter comes around I put a sheep skin mattress topper on and I avoid sleeping in the one spot every time and regularly rotate lest the mattress sags.

Time for my yearly wallet raping as I pile Mrs Foot, cirque de soleil and their friends into the Staria and head to the Easter Show with several hundred thousand others. FML.

My parents told me that the castle hill show was the Easter show. Same/same but fewer carnival folk.

The Easter Show is mad, I love it. Know a few people who are taking their kiddies along for the first or second time and it is the best seeing how much fun they have. Takes me right back to when I was a youngster heading out to the old showground for an Easter Show, was always something special.

It’s just so bloody expensive. Always has been but now it’s just ludicrous.

As a kid I was lucky enough to go usually once a year. I enjoy seeing all the animals. I was limited to like 2-3 showbags (mostly out of my allowance) and 2-3 rides. I remember in the weeks/days leading up to it pouring through the showbag catalogue weighing up which options were the best value for money.

I usually wound up getting a Triple M bag because you got a good backpack for school and a bunch of stuff you’d actually use.

I’ll probably look at taking the kids next year. Given I’ve taken the kids to the Calmsley City Farm (that has an awesome petting zoo) and Sydney Zoo at Eastern Creek a bunch of times I don’t think its worth taking them given they’re way too small for 95% of the rides.

wizz fizz always had the best bang for buck I remember

The radio station bags were always ace.

Along with the backpack, you usually got a hat, coffee mug/thermos (I had an old 2DayFM thermos from like 2003 up until a few years ago) and stuff like key chains, and odd knick knacks along with a few bags of crisps, lollies and drinks.

The last time I went was 10 years ago and I got the Sydney FC showbag (SFC/WSW were doing them from memory) and it was pretty crap. Only good thing to come out of it was a Sydney FC plush toy that my daughter still cuddles occasionally.

Got there midday-ish and stayed beyond closing. It was great. Something for everyone. :+1:

When I left for work this morning there were slumped tweens and teens around my house like prize hogs ready for death.

All this talk of Easter Show so here’s this years creation. Missus has gone Craig Goodwin > Vine Time > Mary Fowler:

Really captured the wide-eyed terror they must have felt when looking at Tony Gs tactics.

Are you sure she didn’t accidentally make it a voodoo doll. She’s done her ACL apparently.
