The discount is bullshit on all assets, particularly when itās absolutely trivial to calculate the actual effect of inflation (which is what itās intended to account for) in fractions of a second. Thereās absolutely no reason you couldnāt enter the acquisition and disposal dates when filing your return and pay the exact amount.

RFK confirmed as health secretary. Itās going to be REALLY REALLY interesting with him there. Obviously anti-vaccine and everything else, but heās also very much anti-pharma and anti-food additives. Will be āfunā watching him square off against all of that.
Also something thatās a bit crazier, thereās still billions of dollars in funding that hasnāt been released by the Federal government, despite court orders. Thereās already talk that the new regime may start ignoring court orders. Theyāve already stated thereās a constitutional crisis in the courts as theyāre contiuously blocked from enacting some of their policies.
Iāve used up all my gift links with The New York Times, so I cannot share the story but the fallout from dropping the Mayor Adams case might be Trumpās worst stunt so far.

If democracy survives this administration, the GOP should pretty much go the way of the Nazi Party - expunged from existence, never to return. Also, key figures should be charged with treason. Everything unmade by this administration is to the benefit of Vladimir Putin.

Musk literally just had a go at the fact that the Judicial arm is stopping Trumpās executive ordersā¦ their white house press secretary had a bit where she spoke of the constitutional crisis in the judicial armā¦ itās literally happening in real time
Yet, strangely, none of those AR-15s that are owned because of their 2nd amendment will be used to protect the populous from the tyrannical government disbanding the judicial arm.
