I’ve never really understood why Maher is popular. He’s such a slimy fuck.
I remember watching Religulous when it came out and him asking a guy playing Jesus at a theme park (what a world we live in) to explain how the trinity could work - how can something be three different things at once. Jesus responded that it’s like how water can be in three different states. Maher just mocked the guy later alone to camera. I thought to myself - now there is a disingenuous prick. He just answered your question in good faith with with a reasonable response and you walk away and mock him. Nothing I’ve seen since has improved my opinion of the guy.

There’s now talk that they’ve deported kids that have full US citizenship, one of which was being treated for cancer. Fucking hell this decent to madness is just terrifying to watch. Will be VERY interesting to see what happens in the midterms and whether there will be a Democrat wall getting elected. Trump has the lowest approval rating in his first 100 days of Presidency for the last 70 years (I wrote incorrectly earlier that it was the lowest ever). But the question will then be, what happens if Trump loses control of Congress and the House? Will he accept it, or will he just stop the act and go all in?
