Donāt you think you should ask for more than a million dollars? A million dollars isnāt exactly a lot of money these days.
Dude, heās Scottish ā¦
Juande has departed Adelaide United
He might be back one day
Heās 36, coming back from one of the worst leg breaks youāll see in football.
So heās primed for us.
Western United to beat us to him
Sack Bimbi, Sack the Board, etc etc
I only just realised that the grand final isnāt this weekend, but instead the weekend after.
Itās okay, you will have the Festival of Football to keep you busy this weekend.
Just head down to your local park at 8am, unfurl you beach chair and watch every game from U8s through to the AAs in the afternoon.
Cracking day.
BYO beer. Its cheaper and theyre probably not going to stop you either.
Legless by 11am.
Canāt wait!
Iāve done that once, derby day between Asquith and Hornsby RSL in the old KDSA. Our Asquith team had the bye, so we all rolled up to the ground with a heap of beers and sat there for the day. It was before a game up at Central Coast Stadium - the one where the Guy Sebastian look-alike tried to punch on with me before he tripped over the seats and got turfed @hillbillyā¦
Sounds perfect. My FoF weekend is as follows:
Saturday
10:30am - 12:30pm Watch the Mariners train at Pluim Park
12:30pm - 1:00pm Chat to the players and get my Mariners jersey signed
2:30pm Play our top of the table clash and local derby match Ourimbah v Wyoming 45s at Wyoming
4:15pm Sink numerous beers from the team esky
Sunday
9:00am Watch my son play Ourimbah v Berkeley Vale 18s at Ourimbah
11:00am Watch my wife play Ourimbah v Kincumber All Age at Kincumber whilst sinking numerous beers from their team esky.
2:00 Afternoon nap
Hope this is you pinching beers from the oppoās esky, and not your own wifeās team!
My biggest memory from that game (besides seeing an angry Guy Sebastian look-alike tripping over a seat), was watching 30 Sydney fans holding up their hands to show that we didnāt make him fall over the seats.
I wasnt gonna get thrown out cause old mate couldnt make it over the chairsā¦
He was such an angry, angry man and not a fan of ābanterā
Still one of the funniest things Iāve ever seen.
Mild unassuming accountant by day, telepathic football hoodlum by night!
Itās not our fault he looked like a minor celebrityā¦
