Championship will be a big step up for him, I reckon.

If he can crack the team though that might be the end of Behich’s national career. Farrell and Bos would be great options there (unless Arnie keeps seeing Bos as a left winger).

A shame neither plays RB though.

Farrell has played right back before, as well as centre back numerous times. He is quite a versatile defender.

Strong in tackles. He was third in duels won, fifth in tackles won and led the league by far in interceptions. He is fast, mobile and had the best beep test score in the squad.

All these attributes should set him up well for the Championship.

I think Farrell is destined for greatness tbh.

I’m sure the Mariners got a nice fat fee for him. Keep the lights on at the ‘community club’.

HJK which the article claims Logan Rogerson played for is the most successful Finnish club of all time. He didn’t make their first team and only played 3 games for their youth side (HJK Klubi 04) in the 3rd division before being loaned out.

For comparison Juho Mäkelä played 183 games for HJK scoring 81 times.

28 year old that can play across the front line. Hasn’t played a lot in his career but been in all 4 of the top divisons in Brazil, mainly in the second and third division. Had stints in Albania and Belarus too. Not a great resume but I guess Mariners have been really good with these signigns.

He’s pretty much the dictionary definition of a journeyman.

I won’t write him off, because as Redkat said, Mariners seem to pull a bit of quality out of some very ordinary looking signings on paper, but his best return is at that Belorussian club when he scored 6 goals in 33 appearances.

Fabio Gomes (or the worst signing ever…) had better returns than that and he went on to be a dual-golden boot for us.

Yeah hes another player that looks like hes spent more years of his career on loan than permanent. Dont know ever if hes ever been a key player in the team either but at Mariner’s hes now got some stability of a two year contract, a bit of pressure on him to produce and a great club culture. That all may be what he needs to settle and play his best. Doka was a fair bit younger but came straight from Seria D and had a superb season.

Armed with the information that feijão in portuguese translates literally as “bean”, I could see this signing as one which cannellini towards good or cannellini towards bad for them. While it’s not the same old refried ALM journeymen they used to go for, I still reckon the Mariners are doing him a real fava by giving him a contract.

Allright, do your worst.

Are you starting to feel a bit Lupini?

Hey, he’s my height! He’s 5"7.

The club won’t need to worry about his legume on his seat when booking his away flights.
