Gees, the word “star” is being used extremely liberally here. He might end up being a decent player but he’s started how many games for them?

To be fair, you could say the same about some of our crop that have gone overseas.

I certainly wouldn’t use the word “star” to describe Yazbek or King or any of the others who have gone overseas in recent years …

The word star is used way too much.

We should refer to them as Heroes.

Herculean effort. What an inspiration individual superhero-star.

Still more consistent than Jack Rodwell.

Looks like the recently implemented policy of APL-We’re-Bleeding-Money academy model of signing lots of kids & selling them to random overseas clubs is right on track.

Our mob havent cottoned on to the English euphemisms for this type of player yet. “Academy Star” or “Starlet”.

They’ve been pretty consistent lately.

Really? He’s been one of the most consistent players we’ve had. Second only do Zullo (calf- one week)

Fair play, that’s a pretty big name sponsor

That’s a really weird headline though.

Are Turkish Airlines trying to make Istanbul or Ankara a transcontinental hub or something?

They’re emphasising legitimacy after the last “airline”.

They still have the last airline which is what I thought was weird. Bonza is still a major sponsor. Understanding there’s no direct competition, but still really random
