Melbourne Victory - Tales of a 6roken c1ub

I saw a stat last week, that melby has a total loss of about $2m in the decade before COVID.

777 no longer involved with the scum

Wonder what haircut, if any, they had to take on their investment?

As much as I dislike Victory 777 being gone can only be good for the league

Do these vermin still have the young female in tight lycra shorts gyrating in front of the ref & linesmen with a violin pre game or does it stop if enough calls dont go their way ??

I think she played at a Celtic game or something

Years ago we played an Australia Cup match at Belmore and at half time they had a Bouzouki player playing Zorba the Greek. We could do a lot worse than to hire him to do Zorba Greek pre game just like the MV Violinist.

But I don’t want to go back to Sydney for every game!

That was fantastic. From memory he was still building to the climax when the players came back out, and the referee waited for him to finish before starting the second half :ok_hand:

Tony Bloom has just bought a 19.1% stake in the club.

Great for the league, but still terrible news.

Obviously a real enthusiast for dogshit beaches on the arse end of islands.

Why I can’t understand why they all come to Australia.

It’s actually really nice.

Rare to have those 27-32 degree no cloud days but when they come, good stuff.

Water was the same colour as ours

If he can get them running half as well as Brighton are, it can only be good for the league.

Just a shame its with them.

Also, Brighton is an awesome place.

Apparently he’s gone in privately, so apart from a shared shareholder, there’s no actual links with Brighton. MVFC indicated they’re hoping to use those links though, but again, no formal arrangements.

Eh, it’s good for the league I guess. Whilst its fun to see them suck we do need them stable for the leagues survival.
