The Bill Pappas affair seems to be dragging on.
Apparently, Xanthi have been relegated (despite finishing 3rd in the second division last season) to the Greek suburban competitions after Bill Pappas announced he couldn’t fund the club anymore.
I feel a bit sorry for the local fans. He really fucked up the club.
Whatever happened to the few young Aussies that went over there? There were a couple of ex-WSW and NPL players that joined.
