Shaw has only been back in the NPL side in recent weeks after being out for a few - not sure if related to his injury from last year though. He did captain them on Saturday though - so not sure what the deal is.

Aw shucks. I’m going to be the senior judge at the 125th annual Sydney paint drying competition in Mt Pritchard. I’d honestly try and get somebody to cover for me, but the quality of paint that I will be officiating is just so high quality that it could take hours to determine which paint on the wall dries the quickest, based on the viscosity of the paint and the texture of the surface.

For a game like this it doesn’t overly matter if active is full with blowins?
I would assume it just makes it hard or impossible to do any active supporting, you’ll have so many people complaining they can’t see from where they are sitting (centre of Bay 23)
For me, it doesn’t matter at all, but if you buy into the (completely debunked IMO) concept that these games are a good advert for the league, undermining active support undermines one of the key selling points.
I don’t really care either way about these games, I’ll watch it on TV, but it annoys the fuck out of me when people expect rusted-on supporters to get excited about this shit while marginalising our fans and catering to tourists who don’t give a shit about the game at every turn for the sake of a few bucks.
