Perth Glory Thread

However it’s all about education. Many of us do not use or understand how cryptocurrencies work but in the fullness of time more and more people will be educated and understand the synergies that can exist between the crypto and the football worlds.

I just threw up in my mouth. Crypto talk plus marketing speak combined in a lovely patronising box.

Man that said a whole bunch of nothing! Perfect way to send an update on the situation that provides zero updates.

If I was a Perth fan I’d still be very nervous. Although by saying nothing it does hopefully mean he’s trying to somehow extract himself from the whole ridiculous situation.

Underpants Gnomes update.

Patronisingly knowledgeable… after a <2 day crash course.

You would think being the chairman of the group you’d be a little more read in than the garbage he just spun.

I agree with Scooter; I think he’s looking for an exfil from the deal after the Australian football & glory community widely lampooned the move but moving forward if he does just let this run it’s course & die on the table I wonder will he want to keep throwing money at the club like he has ?

Like surely after all these years of posting losses & having to liquidate his assets then he finally gets an out & starts rubbing his grubby little paws together & now the deal seems dead will he want to keep investing so much of his own hard earned ?

That was about as far as I got. LOL

holy crap hahahaha turns out the head of LFG is a convicted fraudster and has also been done for assault and robbery. Plus they’re being sued by an oil company for $2.2mill based on a loan the oil company gave which is potentially based on fraud…

good thing that Sage did his homework…

It would be incredibly A-League for the deal to still go ahead.

I vote a for a sagey money tifo next Glory home game :joy: although I’m sure this whole thing will disappear down a memory hole by next month, much less next year

Peak of peak A-League.

I think we’ve reached the peakiest peak of them all.

Don’t worry, you’ll soon find it’s just a false peak.

We need a tv series: The Wacky Adventures of Australian Football

To be fair Sage is a fraudster himself so they are probably getting on famously.

Anyone know what poor old Jason Brewer is up to these days?

Dodgy treasurer at his local club surely… maybe getting another contract lined up for his son somewhere

The proposed sale has, unsurprisingly been canned

Well to the haters who diss the A-League - it just delivered another week’s top entertainment at no cost right there.

Says the person who didn’t put his life savings into LEG coin!
I thought I was on a sure fire winner:

  1. Buy LEG coin at low point
  2. Buy Perth Glory
  3. I’m rich baby!

Who could foresee it all going so horribly wrong?

Whats the exchange rate from Tazos to LEG coin?

The bag of chips you got your tazo out of is probably more valuable than LEG coin.

This week or so has proven as much as any other that the A-League exists purely to provide material for Squires and JayFC.

Unfortunately Squires is on holidays.
