If the decision cannot be made in that time frame, it isn’t clear and obvious error.

100% the way it should be used.

First goal for Sydney was a great shot but the Wellington defence but no pressure on him. Park football defence!

This do?
Name changed on the backdrop and our Lizard Lords inhabit different body shells these days but are still 100% Sky Blue on the inside.

The Sky-Bluetongue reference is not lost on me and I am not ashamed to call it out

On that performance, Ivanovic - for pure lack of effort and guts in relation to defending from the front or tracking back - should be following Charles H out the SFC door. For the whole time he was on, he seemed to do a lot less chasing than 36 yo Ninko who had been running all match. Losing Alf means we lost, apart from lots of goals, a really hardworking, dogged and gutsy 90 minute player who defended all over the pitch. Bobo does not do that stuff and while Trent B has been upping his efforts off the ball, there is still a fair way to go there. ABJ is also work shy off the ball. Any striker or MF coming off the bench needs to work their butts off as Patrick Wood did (that lad looks really hungry to achieve). Otherwise, we will face many versions of the last 30 minutes vs the Nux and may not come out of it as well as this time.

I was actually pretty impressed with ABJ’s tracking back after coming on. No signs of laziness at all. A few times Welly attacks broke down because of ABJ coming back to help. I guess he only did it for the third of a game that he was on, but it should be noted.

I do agree, however, that particularly the younger forwards really need to run their arses off. Wood had exactly 0 chances to show what he could do, but he wasn’t afraid to throw his body into a few challenges.
