I hope someone has worked he needs a couple more weeks of conditioning & training before he’s actually ready for proper game time.

How was the food?
Overall, not bad but nothing mind blowing either.
I’m not sure if it was simply due to Chinese New Year, but everything was Asian (which I love), so it would be interesting to see if it changes at other times.
When we arrived pre match they were bringing around bowls of vermicelli noodles with tofu, and king prawns with dashi mayo (prawns were huge and very good).
The “buffet” was a dumpling bar with selection of dumplings.
At halftime, duck pancakes and this weird bao bun type thing filled with a sweet yellow filling. Couldn’t quite tell if it was mango or what (others around us were guessing sweet pumpkin, egg yolk and all sorts of other yellow things).
I had a late lunch before heading to the game, and it wasn’t particularly packed in there (they say it’s capped at 150 people but there was maybe only 30-40 there), so the small amount of food I ate was enough. If you’re a big eater, or if there’s more people you’re competing against for food, you might need something else as it’s not really a full meal.
Overall, I enjoyed the novelty of the Tunnel Club, and I’ll definitely use my membership dollars next year on Tunnel Club upgrade vouchers.
Even if money were no object, I’m not sure I’d pay $2.3k for a full TC membership. Once you’ve got photos & signatures with the players, I think it would get a bit stale (for the price) after a while.
Seats in bay 14 are comfy though. Padded + cup holders. Good view from halfway, and you get to see Uffy fuming from up close.
9/10, would Tunnel Club again.
Cheers for this overview, brother. I will be heading there with my partner on Saturday night. So noted on the food options… and the beer being $1 extra. Cheeky bastards
