Ha ha, yes, I wasn’t feeling sorry for them, you understand. A point or three for them would have opened up a bigger gap with WSW. Their failure to convert all the chances/position/possession in the last 15-20 was infuriating to me… if I was a Roar supporter, I reckon I’d be ready to neck meself… but, as you say, they’re probably used to it.
You reap what you sow I think. Our uber cautious/defensive approach from the start was frustrating to watch.
The tactic to only fire up and go for it in the last 20 will become old very quickly… ANd will be a moot point if/when teams bang in a few goals earlier in the game. Without Young we could’ve easily be down by 2 or 3 at half time…
