I got time to ignore the shitshow on field and respond to this. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the dumb af away kit policy and resultant clashes is due to sponsorship.
Every team has either “Liberty” or “e-toro” on either kit (some home, some away). Every game I’ve noticed it seems structured so that both sponsors get air time. There might be a bigger clash this way, but you’ll probably find alternate sponsors which would have been the same had Jets worn their gold kit.
We may be more professional off field, but we are worse on it imo.
