Possible, but as Jubal says above this could all be part of the rebuilding effort. In which case, and I hate to say this, we may be looking at someone to take Milos’ wide role next season.
Also the injury and lack of game time poses a risk but it looks like he’s only signed for six months so hopefully it’s a fairly low risk.
If we’ve learned anything about football contracts over the last 15+ years of the A-League, it’s that they are ultimately meaningless if the right suitor comes calling.
Well hopefully the club don’t do what I do in FM and forget to check release classes when re-signing players. I’ve let too many quality players go for ridiculous low sums in too many of my saves.

We have the Bratten money we can use. There’s no need for the replacement player to be like for like anymore unlike in the earlier years of the competition.
As for why we’ve signed him, I see him being an ACL signing. I highly doubt Ninko and Bobo will be in the squad and there may be doubts over Kosta so our depth across the front 4 wouldn’t be that strong.
They will be like-for-like in the sense that they will both be bipedal hominids, unless the rules have been further relaxed in which case I think we should sign a defensively minded Jaguar in time for the derby. I want to see how he matches up with Troisi.
