Is the NPL/NSD to be considered part of the AFC? If not, maybe that’s how an NPL/NSD team could get around it and apply for an OFC league.

I know but just to be sure I volunteer to personally conduct a lengthy in-depth journalistic investigation of each & every one of these idyllic sun drenched Pacific islands to uncover the true pay off I mean the real story behind the scenes, for the footballing public.
If we end up with a NSD then it has to be considered part of the AFC, assuming the teams are registered in Australia. They’d be eligible for the FA cup which is a spot in AFC competition. Not sure how FIFA would agree to letting Aussie teams exist under the Aussie structure, yet also play in Oceania. Very strange situation and the only way I can see it happening, would be Aussie teams being removed for NPL and only playing there?
Both of which can’t qualify for any Asian competitions
I just get a weird feeling that South Melbourne are entering this thing to relive their own ‘glory’ days of Oceania when for some fucking reason they somehow ended up being named " Team of the Century " ?
