Deafening silence on this thread suggests that Labor has achieved its goal of ending the climate wars by boring and disappointing the population into accepting another decade of policy written by and for our largest polluters, with a possible side of annoyance at the Greens for having the gall to oppose awful policy. Anyway, some timely commentary on the S&M mechanism.
Hey, we’re arguing over housing in the other thread, give us one Labor v Greens fight at a time…
In other news, Labor has erased the good of blocking Palmer’s coal plant by approving a Santos gas field that will export until 2077. Presumably they project it will no longer be necessary at that date as the atmosphere will generally be on fire.
It is unadulterated arrogance. Do the ALP and LNP simply not see why people flocked to alternatives in the last election?
You know what you can hear in an echo chamber?
Rupert Murdoch.
Tell me you’re losing more seats to the Teals and Greens without telling me you’re losing more seats to the Teals and Greens:
Apropos of nothing …

I’ll assume it’s bullshit (marketing hype) until they are actually selling them.
Someone probably said it was bullshit to Diesal.
Sorry you’ve lost me there.
The diesel engine , named after Rudolf Diesel, is an internal combustion engine in which ignition of the fuel is caused by the elevated temperature of the air in the cylinder due to mechanical compression; thus, the diesel engine is called a compression-ignition engine (CI engine).
You misspelt diesel you plonk.
As an Australian and member of the Anglosphere I reserve the right to butcher the German language however I see fit on account of being on the winning side in WW1 and WW2.
