I’ve been enjoying HBO’s Perry Mason reboot.
Season 2 of Umbrella Acadamy is pretty good. They’re slightly dragging it out but still definitely enjoyable.
Also been getting into Knightfall lately.
I’m two or three eps into the second series and struggling with it a bit tbh - does it get better?
Anyone been watching Ted Lasso? I’m four episodes in and really enjoying it. It’s basically about an NFL coach who takes on the head coaching role at AFC Richmond (who, in the series, are in the EPL) having no footballing knowledge. Predictable humour, but delivered well.
It’s a really good show. At the start it felt like was just going to be a Major League rip-off but it is a lot more than that. It is a lot more heart-felt than you think it would be,
Yeah, agree (from what I’ve seen so far). You start to appreciate his character.

Made a start on Lovecraft Country. Enjoying it much more then I thought I would… Acting, story (mostly), imagery and soundtrack really solid.
Gave Lovecraft Country a go. Watched three episodes. Found it all a bit silly
Lovecraft country is pretty great, its at least inventive…the most recent episode was like a wild acid trip to say the least.
Raised By Wolves is a very nice ‘Hard’ little sci-fi show that everyone should be watching, be warned that the opening scene of Episode 8 is very hard to watch gore.
Ted Lasso is also super fun, it’s like if Forrest Gump was a Gridiron coach who got asked to coach a professional football team in the UK.
Lovecraft Country is the best show on TV right now, full of brilliance IF you like Lovecraftian horror.
Raised by Wolves almost lost me but the last 3 episodes have been great, back on board.
Ted Lasso should be required viewing for anyone who loves football, it could have been absolutely embarrassingly shit, but it’s not, its great, its fun and its pretty inoffensive all round.
