I feel your aversion to pineapple is immature and probably related to receiving the rough end of one at an accountants initiation ceremony.
Some people blame a particular doctrine but we all know that accountants are behind the evil conspiracy.
Pineapple is a fruit and is therefore as dessert and isn’t deserving of a spot on a savory dish.

As much as I loathe pineapple on pizza (or anything else not a dessert) there’s a flaw in this thinking, tomato is also a fruit.
The tomato has long ago been co-opted into the vegetable family.
I worry about some people on here.

As much as it pains me to say it Hilly is right.
Pork products combine much better with sweet than savoury for the most part.
Just look to the gloriousness of BBQ ribs, pulled pork or the humble ham cheese and pineapple toastie.
