2022-23 SFCU Player of the Season (voting thread)

Final end-of-season bump on this; it closes in a few hours from now

4 Likes

Result for the last match of the season: Despite conceding 4 goals, Andrew Redmayne was voted as the clear man of the match. He picked up 99 votes from 32 voters, at an average of 3.09 each: the highest of the season, and the 19th-highest in voting history.

The 32 votes meant we fell agonizingly short of last season’s average per match, 31.41 versus 31.46 :smiling_face_with_tear: But thanks to everyone who has voted throughout the season.

Full results will be coming soon. I’d love to see everyone’s top 5 predictions.

For reference, here are the number of MOTMs for each player:

7 - Lolley
6 - Mak*
5 - Redmayne, Burgess
4 - Segecic
2 - Caballo
1 - Le Fondre, Grant, Rodwell, Wood*

* 1 shared MOTM

On this - did anyone get a vote this year? Through email or otherwise? No one i’ve spoken too seemed to get one this year?

I certainly didn’t…

Saw nothing come through. :thinking:

Nada. Probably Platinum voters only.

Did nobody get the “It’s Time. The Sydney Derby Is Here” email on 4 May and read it through to the bottom?
