More recent results:

Adrian Segecic got his second MOTM in a row, and his fifth of the season in the second leg against Bangkok. It was the 9th SFCU MOTM of Sega’s career; only 14 players have more since voting started in 2011.

For the draw in Perth, Wataru Kamijo won MOTM in his first A-League start (he also came in second for his first SFC start, against Kaya in the ACL2). He is the 11th different winner this season.

Voting is still open for the win over Macarthur:

Really need a few more votes for this match. Feel a bit guilty leaving some players out

It’s nice to be able to give the defence a lot of points

Result for the win over Macarthur: Douglas Costa hoovered up nearly 40% of the votes, winning his third MOTM for the season. It was very close for the other podium positions, with Costa’s 94 votes followed by daylight, then tallies of 23, 21, 20, 18, 18, 17 and 16.

Player of the Season is getting interesting; with at least nine matches remaining, technically everyone is still in it, but I would say there are five players with a genuine shot at it and a further two who could make an outside run.

So don’t forget to get your votes in for the win in Korea at the link below, which will also host voting after tomorrow night’s game:

Results for the ACL2 quarter final away leg are in, and — no surprises — Patryk Klimala picked up votes from all 39 voters to take MOTM. Perhaps more surprising is that it is his first MOTM for the season, although he was in the top 3 in six matches (4 x 2nd, 2 x 3rd) before the results went hidden.

Voting is still open for the draw with Wellington, and you also still have about a day to get your votes in for the home leg vs Jeonbuk

MOTM for the Jeonbuk home leg was Douglas Costa, his 4th of the season. Only Anas Ouahim (6 MOTMs) and Adrian Segecic (5) have more so far.

Still time to vote for the draw with Wellington:

^^ Ouahim could just about screenshot that for his Instagram.

Result for the draw with Wellington: Adrian Segecic :telephone_receiver: did enough in the first half to win his 6th MOTM for the season (the equal-highest tally along with Ouahim). It is the tenth MOTM of his Sydney FC career. It was close for third place, with two players picking up 19 votes to share the final point, and it was almost split three ways as another player was just one vote behind.

No voting is open at the moment, but be ready after Saturday’s match. It is getting very tight at the top for Player of the Season, with several players still in the running.

Result for the Melbourne City game - Douglas Costa was clear MOTM, taking 72 votes from 26 of the 27 voters, with just one harsh marker giving him nothing. It is his 5th for the season, and the 3rd in his past 5 appearances.

We obviously have a bit of a run of games coming up, but for now Adelaide is still open if you haven’t voted yet:

Quick PSA to mention that I’m going to be away for the next several weeks, and with no guarantee that I’ll be near a bathroom at all times, it might take a bit longer than usual to get voting up after matches. As always, if you’d rather not wait, you can always post your votes directly in this thread or PM me.

And I definitely won’t be able to tally the results while I’m gone. I return after the end of the ALM regular season, so you can expect a big update on the results then.
