Only 24 teams (6 groups of 4), half that of 2026 World Cup, so no really easy groups.
And 16 go through to knockouts (including 4 best 3rd place teams).
We were ranked in Pot 3 as we last made this tournament in 2013.

Given our WC history with Italy & Argentina plus throw in an unknown factor with Cuba this group is likely to at leastt be anything but boring. Neutrals will probably love it.
Not really the most important thing but geez that makes our monotone logo look rubbish. Surely we could get something else in there. I’d love some orange trim.

It’s not in the list of events in this agreement, but would suspect Ten/Paramount since they secured rights to pretty much every Australian football match/tournament until 2028.
