Not sure how there isn’t a goal yet. Some nice play by both teams so far.

I have to say with that last attack by Wenzel-Halls, he must have had at least 20 metres of open space to run into. No fucking idea why he couldn’t do the most basic thing and just run into the space. There was a 3 on 2 and he just tried a money ball from the wing when there was free country between him and the next player. So many players do the same thing. It makes no sense whatsoever. What are they teaching these guys?

Players being taught they have to play to a system, maybe?

More fun in that scenario would the coach just telling him to go at them. Do what you want.

Brisbane should be a couple of goals up by now. Brilliant save by Kurto, bad miss by Bautheac and a few other poorly-taken chances. They’ve been good value otherwise.

Not a bad way for Bautheac to atone for that earlier miss. Some pretty pathetic defending, it has to be said.

Agree with mental. Some of the players don’t seem at the races.

Bautheac gets his second. Justin Gulley has had a fairly shocking half. Just stood up and let Bautheac get behind him.

With the wheels probably falling off the Nux with Rudans impending departure, Adelaide/City is a huge one in the quest for 4th

It is, but Adelaide are showing exactly why they’re stuck in mid-table this season. Not enough conviction in their finishing and should be 1 or 2 up by now. A confident Blackwood would’ve nailed that chance in front of goal a few minutes ago.

Very easy to predict a draw in that game. Two of the most boring coaches around

I know it’s only CCM and not like they would necessarily use more wisely, but Sam Graham must be the all-time worst use of a foreign spot.
