I listened to the Fox pod today. Never listened to Destruction in the Box - thanks for the tip - tomorrow morning’s commute is now sorted.
My favourite HAL pod, usually some good banter on it and I know other people here rate it too (despite the podcasters being Victory fans)
Great. I listen to Fox Football, sometimes The World Game, used to listen quite a bit to The Daily Football Show (but got sick of Beaker, plus they’re also Victorians), and The Boot Room (ABC Grandstand) which is actually quite good (no banter, just good discussion).
The DITB guys are really good value for the A-League deep cuts and they’re usually pretty fair as long as Melbourne aren’t involved. They give us our dues when we deserve it and most of them aren’t too one eyed.
Starting to see some people talking about predictions for the 20/21 season so I thought I would dig up this thread to see how we went last season.
Lot of people tipping us and city to be right up there and they were right. Even with our usually very optimistic predictions we didn’t really have many tips for west and victory to do as shit as they did.
@Hybrid with the prediction to win it at BankWest and also nailed a lot of other categories.
No one tipped COVID-19 and a several month disruption to our season though…
