Liam McGing is 23 now. I have no idea why weā€™ve kept him on for this long. Heā€™s clearly not breaking through to the first team. Iā€™d expect Mlinaric to (still) be ahead of him in the pecking order come the next pre-season.

Because we needed a 4th choice CB in case of emergency. We havenā€™t ā€œkept him on for this longā€, we brought him back as an emergency reserve when Mlinarić went on loan.
