I expect more rotations and a more disjointed showing tonight.
I feel a 1-1.

Yep. I’d say we may as well just fold the club now and save everyone the trouble.
This is the positivity and insight that keeps SFCU alive.
Seconded. I demand we fold the club with immediate effect.
Fold now and avoid the rush later.
Fold the club in the next 10 minutes, and we’ll throw in a bonus folding of another A-League club ABSOLOUTELY FREE!
I think bending it a bit now so it’s ready to fold quickly later this evening is appropriate.
Is there anything that backs this theory up now that they’ve been around for a while? People report muscle tightness, but don’t know that actually translates into anything?

Systematic review (though admittedly with a bit of a snarky conclusion)
The overall incidence of football injuries is lower on artificial turf than on grass. Based on these findings, the risk of injury can’t be used as an argument against artificial turf when considering the optimal playing surface for football.
Predict a 6-0 win just for a laugh.
Different sport but NFL players hate artificial turf and they use it more.
They also get manhandled significantly more than football players. Bigger risk of injury in a surface with less give?
I did a brief skim - was this done at professional or amateur level ?
Everyone hates artificial turf.
Except groundsmen.
This is from the summary:
Professional players had a lower incidence of injury (8 studies: IRR 0.79, CI 0.70–0.90) on artificial turf, whereas there was no evidence of differences in the incidence of injury in amateur players (8 studies: IRR 0.91, CI 0.77–1.09).
So the AFC don’t let teams show their stadium names but artificial turf is all good. Also how’s it not a massive advantage to the home team who are used to playing on it?
Thanks Baz, as I expected.
Unsure tbh, haven’t looked through in super detail either, but as it’s a systematic review I believe a mix.
Also would be interesting to consider whether it perhaps increases muscle strains for example while reducing ACLs and ankle injuries from uneven/sandy/sodden surfaces perhaps.
It’s not the home team stadium either.
Yeah was gonna say they’re not playing at their own ground too. Look, the pitch shouldn’t and won’t be an excuse. We should win this.
I mean, it shouldn’t, but it’s good to have these excuses lined up - makes it more believable if we’ve been saying it for a while…
How long does it take 10/P+ to put the replay up? In case I don’t get access to the ga.e tonight?
