ACL2 - MD5: Eastern SC vs Sydney FC - Thur 28th

Our only game this week as we have the league bye. Given that, and that qualification isn’t locked in yet, I’d assume it’ll be a full strength team here.

Also, sounds like a decent travelling contingent going to this. Looks like 30-40 tickets sold in the away bay.

Cáceres to play 3x 90 minutes in the space of a week across Riffa, Sydney and Hong Kong?

If anyone in the history of football has ever earned a bye…

If anyone sees this who is going and hasn’t got the club emails, there’s pre game drinks from 3pm at “Hands Craft Beer and Magic” bar, no it’s not a euphemism they literally have magicians

Perfect, thanks

Hopefully they don’t host a golf tournament on the pitch for the week prior to the game, and we can enjoy some more slick football from Ouahim and co.

Well if we win this and Sanfrecce dont shit the bed against Kaya we’ll be through to the next round and we can rotate the team next week instead.

Pfft magicians. Only gimmick I want to see is Duffman.

Pfft I bet Eastern have never had a Duff in their lives

So any idea who has travelled for this? Definitely seen Lolley and Ouahim in some pictures, but how about the Brazilians?

Redmayne and Costa only ones I’ve seen mentioned as staying in Sydney so I assume everyone else is good.

Sena definitely in training photos. Not sure I can spot Lolley though.

Joe’s posted HK pics on his insta.

Is Redders hurt? Didn’t see him pick up a knock in the derby.

He got crash tackled pretty hard in the second half. Although you never know whether he’s actually injured or wasting time.

It was confirmed by Sydney that only Redmayne and Costa stayed back

I went to see a game at Mongkok Stadium once when I was on holiday in Hong Kong. South China vs Citizen AA in the Hong Kong First Division League (a year or two before it changed to HK Premier League)

I always get a kick out of seeing games being played in a stadium that I have been to before, good memories.

Well his tackle certainly got crashed pretty hard by Joe Lolley in full flight at the end of a 60 metre sprint back to rescue us on the break
