Actually hoping Adelaide win just to avoid seeing a City v Western semi attended by 350 friends & family. What happened to City’s active support? it was filled by their youth team against us. Did someone tell their youth team go stand behind the goal to make it look like they have fans?

The offseason of bitter ramts. Adelaide were in a two horse leadership race halfway through the season then remembered they’re Adelaide & started one of the A Leagues most impressive losing streaks out of the six. Now unexpectadly find themself in an elimination final through the grace of us hitting the post twice against football corp. Just think having to face the finals with a sacked ghost coach whose only motivation now is to stick it up the board. Pathetic.
That would still appear superior motivation to what we showed over recent weeks.
Kinda have to root for the pissants from here. They’re not Victorian. They’re not from the favela’s. And they’ve been here longer than five minutes to realise they’re not special. Puts them above all the others remaining.

I hope Auckland aren’t getting their expectations too high either. I know after their summer of love & the self congratulations they’re waiting for a grand final present & I dont want to be the one that tells kids there’s no santa claus but the team thats beaten them twice with 4 goals are still in the room. One 4-0 loss could be a fluke but add a 4-2 later on & its time to address your delusions. Thats assuming they get that far when there’s likely a an encounter with 35k screaming inbreds or favelados in the semi to get past first.
I’d prefer Adelaide over Western United on Friday night.
The only downside is that Adelaide (as the lowest ranked EF winner) would then play Auckland in the semis.
Thus depriving the nation of the possibility of another Corica led 6-1 semi-final demolition of Victory (assuming they knock the westies out this week).
Adelaide could easily make the final.
Western United are average and Auckland are beatable
Does the club know if we’ve secured a place in next seasons A-League yet like Western & Adelaide have?. I think they better check.
