ALM - Round 14/16 Discussion - 2024/25

Okay… it is getting weird with how the rounds are progressing, so bear with me.

All the games of Round 15 have been played so naturally tonight’s game is the the third game of Round 14 and Friday’s game (the Big Blue) is the first game of Round 16, the last game of which does not happen until 22 April. The last game of Round 14 does not happen until 12 March and the first game of Round 17 has already been played.

For this reason this Round Discussion thread will be a mish mash of rounds rearranged in chronological order and the next few threads will be the same.

Should be a top match tonight between the pissants and Bimbi’s boys. Great Wednesday night viewing although should be on a weekend

Surely VAR calls that back

I thought so, for sure. But no, “not enough impact”?

“Not enough impact”

You fucking what?

That’s a strange one.

I mean, VAR should’ve been the one to determine that? “Enough impact” = clear and obvious enough?

Once the ref is there looking at it he has to see the foul. :man_shrugging:

Scenes

Wow

Again. Wow.

Double scenes

Some tremendous swearing from both coaches at the end there

That sounds really uncharacteristic from both?

Veart has always been a raging foul-mouthed drama queen.

I’ll contend that it isn’t.

That was Vintage A-League.

So Wellington are playing at home in Christchurch wearing their away kit against CCM who are wearing their yellow home kit.

Wellington have a sponsor’s agreement to play a certain amount of games in their black strip
