Very close call in the Wellington game. VAR denies goal for Phoenix.
3pm on A Thursday is a very odd time to be watching a football game
Waitangi Day in New Zealand. And it’s Wednesday night here in Vancouver. It’s a crisp -3C outside so football is a decent option.

Indeed.
This comment was more my reaction to seeing a “GOAL (17’)” notification on my phone and thinking “there’s a game on?”

Chris Griffith-Jones…
Not a foul. Hah. That was worthy of Alireza.

For tonight’s game they have seeing eye dogs leading out the referees, I don’t think the PR department thought this one through.

This game is so boring, CFG aren’t too bad but Adelaide are terrible. Wonder if we broke them last week?

Nah this is usually about the point in the season they crumble
CCM looking very shaky here, even putting the goal aside.

Oh it’s time for my weekly Wood!
If he was still in Sky blue that would have been red

Honestly how long until Sail is dropped? How has any A-League club voluntarily played him as a first choice keeper, and continued to do so after years of so many howlers? It’s actually embarrassing for the league and I feel bad for Perth.

Is Cameron Cook much better though?
I mean I would rather zdrilla take a chance on Clark than sail

Cook? He is fine the times I’ve seen him play. I swear Sail costs Glory a goal a game.

What a miss, if you are a striker and you can’t put away a cross like that then you need to question your career choices.
