We were never going to catch CFG or WU so these aren’t really bad results for us, we will have to fight it out with Victory, Wests, Macarthur for 5th and 6th imo. Best we can hope for and what we deserve at this point.
Ive a working theory that the mariners are the worst team in the league.

Have you seen Perth and Brisbane?
Mariners have fallen off a cliff, all those departures understandably caught up with them. Still a shame to see Bluetongue so empty 9 months after it was rammed for the best night Gossy has ever seen, you’d like to think a few thousand more would’ve stuck around.
WU are an excellent and exciting team to watch. Great young players and some Japanese influence too which is cool, and credit where it’s due as Aloisi seems to have them playing really well.
I have. I think mariners at this stage the worst team. Theyre awful and offer next to nothing. Perth have improved a fair bit, but ok Brisbane have a pretty strong claim.
I do agree that its a shame how far things have dropped off. Ive generally been a bit of a fan
Wellington and CCM are the two worst/boring teams in the league for me. Perth/Brisbane/Newcastle have had their problems but they go out and try and win games and are entertaining to watch.
Brisbane is entertaining in the way a side without burden of expectation is. Zadkos got 3 games in hand to either take responsibility & go past perth or use “limited resources” as an excuse to revell further in his victim mode & take them into uncharted a league deep waters. Im enjoying Newcastles slightly overhyped late run too.
Great goal from Auckland, this is an important game, Adelaide are best placed to catch Auckland you’d think.
