It’s been an unexpectedly cracking game
I’m not shitting on the stadium, I understand it and the are are a work in progress, but it reminds me of those stadiums in FM in non-league leagues, where you’ve basically got just the one stand.
Small crowd bit sounds like there getting decent atmosphere there

This game is unreal. Crowd looks fullish too, probably 4k? Finally a home ground they can build a fan base from.

So I only tuned in at the start of the second half.
Macarthur have truly shit the bed. Western keep this up, they’ll have 5 or 6.
Bigger crowd than what the other club in this league with the name Western in it could muster…
Perhaps they need to start playing out of some NPL2 stadium…
This is what their facility looks like on Google maps. They are currently playing on the grassed area. There is a rail line nearby but the station is a fair hike.

Mariners all over Wellington in the opening 30.
Kinda hoping Wellington do go on and win the Premiership. Whilst they won’t receive Continental recognition, it’ll be a nice fairy tale. Especially as it wasn’t all that long ago they were going to be axed.
Would make for a good narrative with Auckland coming in… can they upset the champions?
