There’s already fears of crowd violence etc at the game. Phoenix has definitely been doing their best to stoke the rivalry while also dismissing Auckland as a team.

I know they’re a new active group, but the away contingent Auckland has taken to Wellington looks pretty poor, considering this is probably the biggest game in either club’s history. Having said that, i would’ve expected a bit better home crowd too.
Yeah I have no idea what I’m talking about wrt NZ fitba, but I’d have thought this would get 20k. Though I suppose Wellington is not a very large city.

Sky NZ’s pre game show showed some bravery going to each team’s pub to interview shit faced football fans. Serves them right having to apologise for the swearing.
