If I was Max and I watched the club sign Sotirio and then I watched him getting more minutes than JK last week, I would be telling the club that it will be a nice long 6 months of me just training and collecting my paycheck.
I feel like if it was sold to him that they would like to use his salary for a CB, he may have been more inclined to take up the offer of being mutual, now, that chance has gone to hell.
