Are there any decent Aussie RBs going around in January if we canāt get a decent CB? I could perhaps live with Grant as CB (though Iād be interested in trying JCP instead of PopoviÄ next to him), but I really donāt think we can live with ZdJ being a nailed-on starter.
If his performance lifts and he earns a starting spot, great, but that hasnāt happened yet and we really shouldnāt be in a position where weāre giving out starts just because youāre the only guy around who can play a position.
Kennedy is mostly a LB too right?

Some idiot in the other Part 1 of this thread said that Sotirio would just be a back up and wouldnāt get on the field before our youngsters. (I was the idiot)

This is what happens when you fuck up your transitions. We had two viable RBs that now start for other teams and let them go.

No idea how good he is but Gethin Jones is a RB.
Heās very much a utility player and I donāt think he or the coaching staff know exactly what his best position is. He can play across the backline and also as a #6.
He played a fair bit of LB in the NPL last year because we didnāt really have any other option.
Iām not sure if heās quite ready for A League yet but in saying that ZdJ definitely isnāt ready.
Matthew Millar could be an option for RB. It looks like his Iranian side signed him as their AFC player for their ACL2 campaign. They lost every game so are out and he hasnāt played for them in the league.
His contract is up in a couple of months so I donāt think it would be that hard for him to get a release from his club.

Well, he did for St Mirren, and was shite.
Also involved in the MacArthur betting scandal.
I sort of forgot there were other players involved apart from Davilla. Interestingly Jed Drew was also accused in court documents, and he has actually had a fantastic ābreakoutā season for Macarthur, one of their best along with Jakolis and Germain.

Nice, didnāt see that. Was Millar cleared too or just Drew?
EDIT: Google AI tells me Millar was 100% cleared as well. Wouldnāt see that as a reason to steer clear of him.
