De Jesus did okay against Adelaide, but don’t really know how he’ll go.
Adamson is ready to go now. Arguably better than any fullback we currently have signed. Can’t let him go.

I mean if he’s not signed, that would mean two managers plus the accompanying support staff, have had a look at him and either couldn’t or wouldn’t sign him… Surely there has to be something there? We’ve seen him play for a handful of games and yes he seemed good, but the entire team looked amazing before they hit week 1 of ALM…
To be honest, Talay has only just arrived. I don’t think he can shoulder much of the blame. That one is on Corica. He was in charge when Adamson was performing well in the cup and did not sign him up as he should have. There are youngsters at this club and others who have done less and still gotten a contract.
Corica and club always wanted to keep Adamson. Issue really was the shitty contract problem we have with our NPL system, pre-season cup, and then getting them onto A-L deals.
De Jesus seems to be the future the club wants to go with at RB as well - behind the scenes they’re very confident he can become a top class player and he’s a bit younger.
I don’t agree. He’s been here for 3 weeks and surely would have done some research into the club prior to this. That’s easily long enough to decide whether someone like Adamson is worth being given a contract.
That assumes we have the cap and/or squad positions available for a contract to be an option before January.

Real vibes of Hoff/Yazbek here. Theoretically keep them both would be ideal but theyd block each other developmentally. So it seems like we’ve picked De Jesus who isnt that far off and younger with supposedly a higher ceiling. Be interesting to see where they both are in a few years to see if the right choice was made.
Only think I would still not get is why did we didnt give De Jesus the games Adamson got if we’re backing him (was De Jesus on a youth callup?)

Adamson can play on the left as well which is even more weird, bloke covered both sides at NPL no?
Just because he can’t play, it’s ridiculous that he not signed up yet.
At Northern Tigers Adamson was a box to box midfielder until a couple of years ago. Bloke can play anywhere well, I would think. Offered a scholarship contract and did not want it, apparently.

Rodwell reminds me of one those plant equipment at work, always has issues, been to the mechanics once a week and never gets fixed, the business decided to cut its losses and Write it off.

Few things shit me more than the M soft serve being “maintained” at 10pm. Like, clean that fucking thing during the breakfast rush when literally no one is ordering a sundae, thickshake or McFlurry.
I think it has a “shot counter” ie needs cleaning after a certain amount of usage.
