Frango’s Edmonson Park on Camnden Valley Way goes alright.
Fuck I love their Fries.
The best EJs is the OG in Granville, but the rest still go alright.

I haven’t been - haven’t been interstate for a while - but I guess that’s because the son runs it (or at least used to) and he’s been involved forever.
Can’t believe we didn’t sign Farmer Joe’s for his excellent distribution.
I speak from experience, Melbourne Belle’s is way better than the Sydney one. They literally make you sh*t fire. I’d bring on Boronia Park Chicken, take out Belles and replace them with Putney Chicken Shop.
KFC would have us so well organised
Would also fit with the current regime, keeping the herbs and spices recipe just as secret as updates on injuries and player signings…
I dunno, my local KFC plays the youth too much (even the “managers” look like school kids), and they always fuck up the orders.
No contract for Oricco? Fold the club
Unfortunately he missed out due to coming down with a serious bout of food poisoning.
Clem’s Chicken Shop in Newtown has been approached as a on-loan signing to cover him.
Steggles rejected our contract offer. Instead chose to switch codes to Rugby League. But I think there’s no big loss there. Likewise La ionica chicken chose to re-sign with Australia’s shame.
Hungry Jacks Jacks Fried chicken performed admirably in a trial, however was cut. McDonalds were approached as a big-name marquee signing, however he took umbrage at KFC being the manager, and refused to sign under him.
The signing of Red Rooster is a controversial one, however despite nobody really understanding why he’s there, one can’t argue that he’s a part of the furniture and has good experience off the bench when you’re in a pinch. Mary’s Fried chicken up front is a really underrated signing, and is rarely if ever off form.
Whilst I’ve only had Belle’s at tramsheds at Glebe, I found it was a dominating performance. It was let down by the white bread being stale, but the chickens performance was certainly noteworthy.
Whilst KFC as a player isn’t great, he makes for a very stable and steady manager. There’s a few US chicken outlets that I’m sure would be good additions to the overall squad.
No Ole either.
I mean, how can you not have chicken shop called Ole in a football team?
If a chicken shop has fresh bread AND top notch chicken, then they’re probably going to be headed overseas.
I think we have to acknowledge that Australia just isn’t able to compete in that market and accept that sometimes some aspects of their game is going to be lacking at times…
As long as future franchise fees are reinvested here, then the cycle should continue.
Another one of our academy players going elsewhere #ColonelSandersOut
Dont get me wrong, they’re good, but the regular spice levels in Melbourne are so much more mental. I do love their mac and cheese though
I’d assume though you would have to go to Melbourne for that? I mean that’s a big red mark right there
I fly a few times a week and I’m a man of habit. Almost every trip I get Belles
Where abouts in Melbourne is it.
I’m planning on taking a trip down in January - hopefully coinciding with the Australia Day game.
Apparently right next door to The Eveleigh in Fitzroy, which I’ve been to multiple times, without ever noticing that Belles is right there?
There’s I think 2-3. But can recommend some other decent restaurants if you want. Got a really good and relatively cheap Chinese place, plus a good cellar door with restaurant attached. You pay cellar door prices for the wine and can have it with dinner.
The Belles I order from is the one in the CBD on Elizabeth St.
