Interesting that it’s only a maybe for a centre-half. They must have a good Australian lined up or have confidence to move JCP centrally with Gurd as fourth choice.

Even if you have absolute confidence in Grant-Matthews-JCP-King as a starting back four, you can’t play through a season with only Gurd and De Jesus backing up four positions.
We need a CB and a utility FB at the very least.
